A talented scorer and passer, Demario’s skill set enables him to be a team’s first option on offense while also playing a major role creating shot for others. He is an excellent isolation scorer who can create his own shot from the perimeter with a variety of dribble crossover options. In combination with his speed and strength, he is able to create separation driving to the basket and will finish through contact or use his athleticism for the creative floater or make a tough, off-balance layup falling away from the rim look easy. He has a jump shot defenses need to respect and is also a threat for a mid-range pull up if the defense gives him space. Strong transition player with great end-to-end speed and a constant threat to finish at the rim, or above it. Is extremely unselfish with great vision and touch. Can play minutes at the point guard position and does an excellent job of keeping his dribble, attacking positions, making the right pass and keeping the ball moving. His ability to attack and create direct scoring opportunities in heavy traffic is very high-level for a guard of his size.
